However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we

your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required to retain it for legal
or legitimate business purposes.
8. Browser Extension (ClickToEdit)
The ClickToEdit browser extension is an optional tool that allows you to inspect and edit website content
directly from your browser. The extension is only active when you explicitly interact with it.
- Page Data: When you use the Analyze Copy feature, the extension captures a
full-page screenshot and extracts visible text content from the page. This data, along with the
current page URL, is transmitted to our servers for AI-powered analysis. When you select an element
using the picker tool, the extension collects metadata about that element including its HTML tag,
text content, CSS styles, and position in the page structure. This data is only transmitted to our
servers when you initiate an action such as creating a pull request or reporting an issue.
- GitHub Integration: If you connect your GitHub account, the extension uses OAuth to
access your repositories. This allows it to locate source files, read file contents, create
branches, and open pull requests on your behalf. Your GitHub access token is stored securely on our
servers and is never exposed to the client.
- Local Storage: The extension uses Chrome's local storage to maintain your session
state and preferences. This data remains on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
- AI-Powered Analysis: The Analyze Copy feature uses artificial intelligence to
review page text for tone, clarity, grammar, and other quality checks. Screenshots and extracted
text are sent to our servers and processed using Google's Gemini AI service. Analysis results are
returned to the extension and are not stored permanently. You can customize analysis preferences
such as tone settings and brand guidelines, which are stored locally but transmitted with each
analysis request.
- Permissions: The extension requests the following browser permissions: access to
the active tab (to read page content when you interact with it), side panel (to display the
extension interface), storage (to save your preferences locally), and debugger (to capture full-page
screenshots for content analysis).
